Hi there! Would like to start an aquaponic system in my backyard! My plan is to first build a green house or a shed to cover the entire system. The main concerns are, bird droppings, cats, squirells and environmental conditions. Any input would be very much welcome! Thanks and happy farming

Describe what type of systems you are thinking of, what the beds and fish tanks will be and how you think it will lay out (draw a sketch and post it as a picture here). People will be able to review what you plan and may have suggestions regarding the greenhouse etc. Also perhaps describe what materials you are looking at for the structure and what space and size it will be. up front you will benefit from a open light/diffuse light type roofing as it will mean you can use natural light. This would be a problem for example in a shed with a metal roof. Also what part of Malaysia are you in ? |
