Good Morning, For a couple years now, I have been interested in starting an aquaponics system. I started with one of those store-bought systems, which I have had success with when my cat doesn't eat the plants. Now,I'm attempting to build my first indoor system using a bell siphon. So far, I haven't had much luck because I can't get the siphon to work quite right. And because of that issue, I haven't been able to cycle the system and get fish into it and start growing anything as of yet. Despite all of those issues, I am determined to get this system up and running. I welcome any and all constructive inputs and advice. Regards, ~Ejmorgan60 |

Hi EJ, Depending on how you have the siphons setup you could just switch to Constant Flood (pumping 24/7 with a constant water level in the grow beds and no weep hole in the lower part of the standpipe - you want the water to stay in the grow bed if there is a power outage with this method)and figure out the siphons later.
