G'day all. just new here and looking forward to learning lots. I'm an old bugger so please have patience if I ask a silly question.
I'm about to set up a system so I need to study up big time I will start up small and hope to expand it as I learn. The biggest interest is the fish, hoping to keep a steady supply going for the table. I know aquaculture has it's limits to supply copious amounts of fish but I hope to add to the supplies in my dams. I do have redfin in them but hope to add decent size trout fingerlings in them as well.
Well, I better get into finding out where the sump fits into the system and what purpose it serves.

Whatever you plan to do.....DONT try trout as your first fish....
Learn lots,
read lots esp on this site
plan a SIMPLE first system
be prepared for mistakes,
use goldies for first attempt.
