. Probably a good place to start is the IBC of aquaponics - http://ibcofaquaponics.com/. It's free, it's a good read and it has lots of examples of systems setup using IBCs. You'll see more about filters now on the forum than what you'll find in the IBC of Aquaponics but most media based systems don't need any filtration other than what the grow beds provide (if they are setup right). High fish loads, Deep Water Culture, and Nutrient Film Technique are options that might require additional filtration and you can ask questions about that here
