Hi everyone - I've been cruising around here for a little while and figured I'd introduce myself.

I'm just gettin into AP. I started with a tiny system made out of a polar water jug, and I caught the bug. Shortly after I put another system in my basement. I'm working my way up and gathering components needed to take my operation outside. As I'm near pittsburgh, it's pretty crappy out right now. I'm waiting for the weather to break and I'm thinking of building a greenhouse.

Of the people that have greenhouses, in climates like mine, is it better to buy a greenhouse kit or build a hoop house? The hoop house is more appealing to me due to cost but I'm not sure if it'll hold the heat like a kit model would?

Anyway, thanks for having me. I attached a pic of my current indoor system when I first put it in a few months ago ..don't be to hard on me
