Hello Everyone,

I've been interested in aquaponics for many years.
Over the years we've developed our plot of land towards self sufficiency and I think aquaponics for fish & veggies could become a largish percentage of that. As a conventional gardener my wife has produced a wonderful English style garden with many fruit trees and excellent growth from a large veggie patch.

To support all this I built a 500,000 Lt bio-pond, it basically works the same as an aquaponics system but instead of harvesting fish we have a self cleaning aesthetically pleasing water saving pond for swimming, irrigation, fire fighting & toilet flushing.

I've been researching aquaponic system and found it interesting to learn about peoples mistakes along the way.
