Hi from Portugal! Newbie to this new challenge but with some experience in aquaculture construction.

I'm gathering some more information so to start my own backyard fish harden boxes lol.

Place were I want to start as a wide range is temperatures from 4c at winter to 40c at summer peak. As we have lots of natural and invasive species laws I'm tied to carp, largemouth bass or just use decorative fish (gouppies or koi)

Cheers

Hi and welcome.

The IBCofAquaponics page (link at top of page) has some information > http://ibcofaquaponics.com/
there is a PDF and also links from that page with informations and FAQs etc.

also get some information from the FAO small system AP.
It covers next step IBC systems and things like DWC's fairly well.
get PDF or web based here > http://www.fao.org/3/a-i4021e/index.html

and of course as things progress from the helpful people around here.

Holy cow. I downloaded that FAO document to have a look - it's really useful! - and they reference the IBC of Aquaponics. They list it on page 157, in their 'Further Reading' section, and I think they mention it in the main text at one point as a good resource if you want to build your own system. Is that cool or what?!
