Hello everyone. I have been growing raising prawn now for a 8 or 9 months. For the first time that I have noticed I have females carrying eggs. So now I'm planning on setting up a small hatchery in my shop. My outside systems has been going thru it with the heat. So I will be making some major changes in my layout. I have had a massive over stock of duckweed so I'm selling it on ebay and craigslist. It works great as food and shade for aquatic life in the tanks plus it hinders mosquitoes from inhabiting my tanks.

I've been wondering if FW Prawns can be the primary fish component. Seems most of the designs I've read about add prawns under traditional fish with a good cage and some territory to separate.

If your shop is retail, I'd love to stop by the next time I'm in Corpus! I'm in DFW, but the family loves Corpus and we're once again trying to figure out if we can fit in a trip down there before Summer ends.
