Hi ya'll. First forum I've subscribed to, seems to be an Aussie dominated forum, but I'll not hold that against ya. Been reading up on aqua and hydroponics over the last month or so. Living here limits the resources available but I'm pressing on. I've got an existing 3/4 rai pond (maybe 1/3 acre or so) stocked with Tilapia that supports numerous water vegetation and edible plant life sitting on a large chunk of land. Hoping it will be of some use. Just wanted to say hello and hoping to gain enough knowledge here to make use of my time and grow some greens. Cheers

Greetings! If you don't mind me asking, what's your Texas connection? I'm in the general Dallas area, for example. |

Lived in the FW area (Watauga) for a few years and worked in Irving. Moved to the NW Houston area after that for 6-7 years before retiring here. Pretty close to the same climate so the heat doesn't bother me at all. |

One of my kids' friends just moved to Plano from Malaysia, and they have the best/prettiest/deepest koi pond I've ever seen in a backyard - I'm trying to convince them to use it for aquaponics but I fear they're just satisfied with it being decorative. |

I know Plano, nice town but I like a bit of lawlessness and the freedoms available here. He's probably more happy to be there, than I am to be here. I want to send you a PM |

Cool, I'm in HEB but I work over in Irving. Congrats on retirement. |
