I live in the Austin, Texas area, and from what I have seen there are a lot of Texans on this forum.
I am new to the forum but I have been a reader for quite some time. I am eventually planning on using aquaponics on a commericalish scale. I would like to have an organic aquaponic farm and sell at the local farmers markets.
Currently I am building my testing laboratory! (*queue ominous music*)
My wife and I just moved to a new house and I am transforming an old 10ftx26ft raised bed into a greenhouse...so far so good. It isn't pretty but it is effective for my purposes. I am currently going to school and want to use the small greenhouse in order to test out some stuff and get a feel for aquaponics for the next two years.I will post in the members system forum and show the progression from an overgrown raised bed into a makeshift cheap greenhouse/aquaponic system, so look forward to that sometime in the future. Hoping I can get advice and some good ol criticism on my build and future plans.
