Hi all.

Been interested in aquaponics for a while. About a year ago I purchased a commercial fish tank and that's where my problems began. Filled it up and I had leaks leaks and more leaks around all the fittings several tank drains and a whole lot of beer, swearing, silicone and perserverence later I resolved the leaks.

While dealing with that issue I purchased some ibcs to chop up as grow beds. I had the fish tank and a sump in the shed and grow beds on the deck. Thats when my next problem started, I had bell syphons in the beds they would start fine but The syphon would not break. I tracked this Down to design issue the drain was far to long running into the shen and had to run slightly uphill in one point.

I ran the beds constant flood for a while and kind of gave up on it.

But in the last month I've torn it down re designed it, flooded the shed 3 times but we won't talk about that one lol. So far so good

Thought I'd jump on the forums say hi and see what other people are doing.
