Hi all. newbie to the group. I have an interest in finding small sized pelletized clay. I have a specific need for them and not the mixed 4-16mm sizes commonly available. Is there such a thing? Thanks so much!

Sounds like no one has answered, and that raises the question of what you need that odd size for..
Folk might make alternative suggestions if they knew the application..

orchidjim,

You might concentrate your searching on bonsai sites. Some of the bonsai folks are using LECA and they usually like the smaller sizes. For example, this site sells 2mm-10mm size pellets:

BONSAI LECA, 2 - 10MM WHOLE AND CRUSHED

Perhaps that would work? Of if you definitely need the smaller than 4mm size, perhaps you could sieve out the larger ones and use them elsewhere? I have never tried crushing the larger ones, but perhaps you could carefully crack them down to size?

So yeah, are you looking to use this for your orchids? Knowing the application might help track this down...
