Hiya all,
Been reading this forum a while and it helped me heaps when I was building my system. now its been up and running for a while I still have some issues I need to sort out but for the most part its running well.
Its made up of 1 IBC inground for the fish, and 3x bath tubs for the grow beds (scoria filled)
This is the 2nd year its been running and no major hiccups apart from some loss of power. Lots of things to learn yet though.
The veggies are struggling at the moment (you can see in the pic zucchini looking a little sad) as I took out the trout (15) about 3 weeks ago now. Waiting on some silver perch.
Did not get a good yield of veggies this year. Zuchini took up a lot of space and not much produced. last year heaps of chillis and tomatoes they worked well.
Look forward to joining the discussions around the forums.
Cheers,
Matt

File comment: The grow beds, 3 x scoria filled bath tubs resting in a timber frame. cage there to prevent possums/rats eating all the food

hehe yep she is a whippet. indoor/outdoor, bit slow/lazy on the uptake but when she spots a possum she gets pretty riled up.
The cages have worked well when I've remembered to tie them shut. lost a few veg by leaving a (small!) gap in the door.
