New to the forum... Just got my first system up and running.. I have alot to learn.. So I'm sure the questions will soon pour out.. But for now I'll explain my system I have a 5 gallon tank with 3 gold fish and two rosy barbs.. Above the tank I have a 1'tall by 2' long by 6" wide planter (size is approximate).. I have a little submersible pump rates at 50 gph.. I have what I thought were two Arabic coffee plants which actually ended up being 10ish packed together.. I still need to separate them.. They are in a little plastic green house as I heard this helps reduce stress from soil to aqua transfer.. I used river stones as media for now purchased from a garden store and said to have no lime or ph.. And that's about it for now..pics soon |
