Good morning everyone, Firstly, I would like to thank Joel for adding me. I'm a small backyard aquaponic enthusiast from Perth Western Australia. I have an aquaponic system setup with 3 tanks and around 1000 baby fish in a seperate tank. I have succesfully added Mullet from the ocean and introduced it to my aquaponics system. I also hope to gain valuable information from Backyard aquaponics and its members. |

.. Welcome to the community.. one of pure addiction .. It will be interesting to hear about the whole system, as having 1000 babies is, well, extreem..! I thought I was bad with an original 150 and now down to 100 I too have some mullet.. and looking forward to see how they develop.. I'm keen to net some more.. .. Peter |

Hi there I am also in Perth - built and moved into my own place in byford about 6 months ago and am going to (hopefully!) build a nicely integrated aquaponics system into my backyard landscaping (very small yard) Would love any advice from any of you other Perthies! Will be a while yet before I even start setting up my system - funds and time permitting but looking forward to it. Alia |

Alia I am kind of in same boat, I have limited space, know the system I am buying, now I just have to design it in such a way the missus doesn't make me live in it if I take over whole yard... lol Cant offer any real advice as I know less than 99.9999% of people here. but in the two weeks I've known about it, learn fast |

How do Mullet go in an aquaponics system? Does anyone know if they are the same Mullet as here in South Australia? |
