Title says it all... I think it is best I reintroduce myself. Welp... my name is Chris and I was living in China for a while, dabbling in Aquaponics. I took a huge leap in life and really got into urban farming/agriculture and I am now in Reykjavik studying in grad school, with my focus in Environment and Natural Resources. I have so much stuff going on that it..is...crazy. However, I want more! I am really trying to facilitate communities in AP/HP dynamics and encourage this practice as a means of food security and education. Whereas I currently do not have a strong footing here (yet), I am beginning to meet all the amazing people involved and am working to really do something with my thesis. This is not only applicable locally, but abroad as well.

Now, it is horribly bad manners to join (or re-join) an organization and ask for help... that is at best haughty. And, what I am not going to do is petition for your help (although, I have a project due soon and I am making a survey tonight that I might post on here, if you guys want to do it). What i want to offer, at least while I am here is how I can help you and start engaging everybody and really spreading awareness and education for aquaponics. That said, please feel free to ask for my services (95% of the time FREE) where I can and lets continue conversation and really do something.

Thanks!

Since we're here, I don't think you really need to try and engage us much. Most of us currently have systems running quite happily.

My biggest piece of advice if you're going to be talking up AP, make sure you're very knowledgeable in it first, and you can tell the different between good advice and bad advice. There are enough people around already spreading misinformation, or their own versions, which they are the center of.

Given that the "Survey" was a scam, I think the whole thing should now be avoided...
