Hello all, Just wanted to say hi and hopefully meet a few of you from Oklahoma. My wife and I have finally reached that wonderful age of retirement and are getting back to our roots. We've started building a greenhouse in which we hope to grow our own food during the winter months. We already have a few gardens outside that our chickens seem to love. We're new at this and I have to tell you we'll pick your brain if you care to contact us. A few things we have to offer in return is I'm working on getting proficient with solar power and my wife wants to start raising goats and making stuff out of goat milk. Yes we have other skills an knowledge also, I'm a mechanic and my wife worked in Hollywood on special effects and is a very known photographer on the google site (shameless plug). The greenhouse is almost done and soon I will be digging a pond next to it for the fish. We would really like to visit systems in progress and that are up and running. Thanks for your time. |
