Hi Guys, I've been a lurker on the boards for a few weeks and can breathe a sigh of relief knowing I'm not the only person who has an obsession with AP (albeit only 4 weeks since I first heard of it, and I'm utterly addicted to all things Aquaponics!) A short intro I guess: I work in the flailing mining industry, and have for the last 4.5 years as a Driller. I also have started working for myself at home as a Safety and Training Consultant. I'm a Fremantle supporter and father of a 2 year old girl, and the obsession with AP started as a pinterest search for sustainable living ideas to help foster a positive environment at home for my little girl, who is already an inquisitive and agile-minded future scientist! I look forward to asking MANY questions and picking the brains of the guru's on the board! Thanks guys |

Hi Officer-Friendly, and welcome to the AP addiction. Its a great feeling feeding yourself from your own patch. I just had the pleasure of eating my first AP trout last weekend. Your little girl sounds like me nearly 1/2 a century ago - and yes, I am a scientist and am now working in the sustainability sector. |

I would be more than thrilled if my daughter were to choose a noble field to pursue like sustainability! |
