Hi,

I'm so excited, i've purchased a 275 IBC tote and we can't agree upon how deep we should cut it. My husband wants it to be 9in and everything i've read, says 12in is better. He feels the fish tank will be to small, I'm thinking less happy fish in my small tank.

I'd love to hear whats best....
Thanks,
Sue

Hi Sue,

12" is far better than 9" and you'll still have a reasonable size fish tank with what remains.

What I did when I cut this one was run a pen under the first bar down from the top and then add another 1" to allow for the fact that the top of the IBC bladder is about an 1" lower the the actual top of the frame when it's sitting on the ground.
