My name is Peter and I have been doing aquaponics for a little while now. It was due to me reading these interesting forums, that made me build a system and go into aquaponics.
Like yourselves I have used ibc's to make up my system with the grow bed being made out of timber and lined with pond liner. I have made my fair share of mistakes and learned from them. The fish that I have used in my system are Jade Perch which, so far have not given me any problems, except for the few jumpers. You quickly learn which plants are best grown in the system and which ones get out of control, which I am sure you all know about.
I am looking forward to reading more information on these posts.
