Hello all. I am preparing a site for my first AP setup. I will be building a 12x24 greenhouse to put it in. I have done quite a bit of research over the past year and have finally saved up to fund my little project. I have read posts here for a while and since I know I will have my own questions and will be sharing in my experiences, I decided to join up. My system will be primarily ibc totes because I can get them for little to nothing. I also will be using some blue drums for media beds as well as trying some other ideas I have seen from inexpensive or recycled items. I Will update as I progress. Sorry for any errors as I am posting from my phone and it is not easy to proof read.

Welcome to the forum. Totes are awesome in Aquaponics. But the blue barrels are deceptively more costly because of the plumbing involved. I would also suggest that you also source a round FT. As it self cleans better than an IBC.
