Hi! I am very excited to be here and am learning lots. I am brand new to the world of aquaponics though I have been reading up for a few months. I just found this forum the other day. My plan is to start small w/ some rubber made tubs. We plan to have this indoors for starters.

I do have a question though. Is there a step by step guide anywhere? I know we have to build the system and I have a design for that. Then I add water and growth medium and run it for a day or two checking my levels. From there, do I add fish right away then wait for plants? Or do I add both at the same time?

You can browse through the IBC of Aquaponics section of this website (http://ibcofaquaponics.com/) where you can get some basics on how to get started. I know you are not setting up with IBC's but the concepts are pretty much the same.
