Wow!! What a wealth of info on this forum! Im following a few threads a the latest is on low energy AP systems. As i am very off grid and limited to power supply for now and cant really afford any major energy upgrade. So far i have only a 60w panel, a cheap solar controller and a used motorbike battery for a power source and just starting this project in the dead of winter. To top it off, ive never grown a plant in my life, so any suggestions on how to get started would be helpful? cheers, Make |

Welcome Make, looking forward to your system, there are a few off grid systems in these pages do a search. I too was not experienced in gardening, but it is not hard to do. Just figure out what you like to eat and will grow in your climate and seasons. |
