Hello all as you can tell from my sign in my name is Steve and I am from Blackpool which is on the north west coast of England aka the Fylde coast. I came across this around 4/5 months ago and have been working towards having my own set up and am now considering getting my fish. Any tips for a noob like me will be useful Cheers |

Start with cheap "feeder gold fish" due to fish commonly perishing in the beginning. Other than that, just make sure your ratio of fish to wet media is close (many of threads on this) and you should be fine. Get a test kit and watch the magic. |

Welcome Steeve. 1. Have fun. 2. The search engine is your friend. 3. Ask for help if you can't find what you need. |

Welcome Steve! The above advice is all stellar and I hope you grasp it quickly. Also, READ THIS THREAD as it discusses fish stocking density, grow media ratios as well as some other cool stuff you'll want to know. Enjoy yourself and POST LOTS OF PICS!
