Built this beginner set-up over the summer with my son, his idea. We worked together to design and build it. Spend 50% of the time explaining aquaponics, other 50% telling people "no, we are not growing weed". Stocked with comet 'feeder' goldfish. Growing more algae than veggies so far, but its a start. I enclosed the setup in a 8'x6' greenhouse for winter, hoping to keep some lettuce going all winter.
