Built this beginner set-up over the summer with my son, his idea. We worked together to design and build it. Spend 50% of the time explaining aquaponics, other 50% telling people "no, we are not growing weed". Stocked with comet 'feeder' goldfish. Growing more algae than veggies so far, but its a start. I enclosed the setup in a 8'x6' greenhouse for winter, hoping to keep some lettuce going all winter.

System looks good. We get down to minus five celsius here and the greenhouse is definitely the way to go.
