So 3 months ago I was playing on YouTube and saw a cool post from MI Gardner about a miniature Aquaponics setup so I immediately had to try it out. I ran to my shed an pulled out an old 20 gallon high aquarium cleaned it up and ran to petsmart for some 29 cent goldfish. 3 days later I went to nearest nursery and got some plants, set everything up and started my plans for scaling up.

Now, I have fresh herbs every night, a hand full of spinach every week and more mint than I know what to do with. And I'm ready to build bigger.

I have enough room in my backyard to build an 8'x22' greenhouse and these are my plans. My back yard is on a slight slope so I plan to take advantage and use it to help plumb my system.

If you have any suggestions or just want to tell me how special I am, please feel free.

{ADMIN EDIT - removed image link, it's HUGE..}

Green house will be 8x22 with a by-fold 4 foot door

1 330 gallon IBC tote as fish tank
W/ an additional tote to follow

2- 4' x 40" DWC growing beds
W/ an additional 2 to follow

16 feet of Dutch buckets suspended 3 feet over the growing beds

8 feet of zig-zagging 3" pipe

Also thinking about adding a kiddie pool for growing corn on the far left wall
Just bellow the sump

Outside the green house will be 2' 3' tall 2.5' wide 6' long raised beds for things like potatoes.

So the neighborhood association said i couldn't build a new structure on my property so I decided to extend my porch and turn it into a greenhouse. Also I had to do a major redraw on my plans.

I got the back portch cleaned off and my concrete pad poured and started framing.

Good day Cmc :wave1:
Still a noobie myself
If I read your photos correct (side view/taken from outside)
Will put FT right side of where your DWC is on drawing then media bed and if it fits maybe DWC top to bottom on left
Side of drawing. (FT less sun and veggies more)
Like I said still learning and I believe the "older" guys in AP will direct you in all their wisdom :headbang:
