Hello all. My wife and I have just got an IBC tank and we are about to start making our first aquaponics setup. We thought we would keep things small to start off and work up later on if all goes well. We have quite a few fruit trees around our block, a fair sized veggie garden in raised beds, grow from seed, take cuttings, have some chooks so we thought aquaponics might be a thing for us to try. I am slowly going through threads, gaining knowledge, hints and tips along the way. I'll let you know how we progress. |

Thanks mantis, that is pretty much what we are going to mirror, being newbies to this. No doubt we will expand to bigger and better later on. Gunagulla, thanks for the tip. I did a search for "Kurrajong" and came up with the member "Colours". I know of her, our kids go to the same school and she has set up the AP system at the school. I have just finished helping the school kids planting out their veggie patch in the "old school" soil filled raised garden beds. I think "Colours" lives the next street across from me. I'll be in contact. |
