Hey everyone, Mike here. I am in the process of gathering equipment for a dual ibc setup.

Got a garden bed approx 20m long but only 500mm wide and we are quickly outgrowing this space, I hate mowing next to the shed and it gets great sun so it's a perfect position for an aquaponics system.

Looking forward to reading up on what others have done and hope to have some input in the future :thumbright:

Still after 2 IBC tanks and some expanded clay so if anyone here has either of these feel free to chime in or PM me.

Welcome :)

Are you NOR or SOR?

A) obviously if you're NOR we can't be friends ;-)
B) I know a few places SOR with expanded clay at reasonable prices, but if you're NOR the savings might get gobbled up in petrol.

I hope your friends and family are keen too, because soon enough you'll find you can't get through a conversation without bringing up your new obsession. The addiction creeps up on you quickly!

Hi Mike, I got my two IBCs from gumtree, a guy in Forrestfield for $90 each and he delivers! You can get the clay of gumtree too, or the guy on Warton rd sells it ten bags for $33 min, I used ten bags in my twin system, there are plenty of clips on you tube on different ways to setup a system,

Good luck with your new obsession, I am having heaps of fun with my system, I’ve got fish everywhere? Growing Barra in he family room ATM, its too cold outside and they didn’t come with jumpers?
:D :laughing3:
