Hello all im a culinary sustainability and hospitality major. Since starting this major i had the chance to take an organic farming class where i was exposed to hydroponics. Since then i have been curious in both hydroponics but even more fascinated with Aquaponics. Im starting out by building a green house and then starting with hydroponics and onto Aquaponics. But in the mean time i have tried to learn as much as possible. If you have any tips or trick that may help me i would love to hear them. Thank you in advance for all your knowledge.

Hi Marrietta..

Read, read, read... Three pieces of advice... :)

Start here and read all of these free downloads and you'll have a pretty good understanding of most aspects of aquaponics. http://www.backyardaquaponics.com/infor ... downloads/

Greetings, I run a small indoor system in Powder Springs. Here's a video of it just starting up. I'll be shooting a new video this weekend.

Welcome Marietta. I'm new here as well and also in Augusta, Georgia. There's a new hydroponics store here in town and the owner is collecting a list of AP owners or people with interest in AP in hoping of having a local AP gathering. I can't wait. Some even sell fish to local restaurants. I'm sure they're nervous of too much competition. LOL But, for most, it's a great natural hobby.

I look forward to seeing your progress in the subject. It truly is quite fun and a great learning experience. I only have 20 more years of learning ahead of me. LOL

Take care!
