Hi all.

Sort of a returning member, followed the forum for years but never got too into commenting, there's plenty of experience out there to warrant my 2 cents and run into a bit of ego politics when I have so mainly sat on the sidelines watching and learning, but have been active on FB for a few yrs.

Had a fair amount of experience with AP, started playing with the concept around 2003 - 04 after hearing about it and then moving in next door to a guy with a PhD in Aquaculture and a bit of experience w/ AP systems. Experimented, theorised and broke nearly every so called rule before they were published.

I've consulted on numerous builds and systems over the years and met some very smart and talented people, people whom have far exceeded my abilities but found that it can be the simplest thing that you'll continually overlook that someone else with a fresh view can walk in and go "there it is" or found that some people can get so caught up on 1 train of thought that the most basic concepts or components can be completely ignored.

I'm currently in the Lake Mac area but regularly travel the Hunter, Central Coast and Sydney and am always keen to meet other enthusiasts, check out their systems and give any advise or assistance where possible. Also have a few projects around those areas that I'm always keen to get a fresh prospective on, so would love to hear from anyone around these areas.

Hi Charlie and thanks for the welcome.

I wrote out this very lengthy response but realised it's all just words, I have a few photo's of different systems but all the ones I would be proud to display aren’t mine, I've merely consulted on them and given ongoing advice and guidance. I started a couple of AP FB pages and began selling IBC's and barrels a few years back in an effort to meet other local enthusiasts and found I'd be volunteering weekends to help with the build and then began to field calls for months after to resolve issues with their systems or give phone coaching on AP principles.
I've built a few of my own systems over the years but my engineering skills are not to the standard of many of the others I've met, they've been functional but not real attractive, but I've teamed up with a couple of talented people on a couple of current projects and will be only too happy to share the pics once they're completed.
