A place to discuss aquaponics

Hi everyone, I´ve joined this forum to discuss my (aesthetic) indoor Aquaponicsystem for research. I´m looking foreward to test different parameters, well documented, to optimize small scale systems.

If i find good methods for small scale indoorsystems I might build more specialised systems to see how effective we can get. To do this I need the community, because you are all specialists in different fields.

I will only use aquatic shrimps or fish, because I have no interest in eating them. Anyways I hope that the project will make my studies of biology and chemistry more exciting. I know that there are many other techniques for beeing able to study meaningful and and I´m working on these too (philosophy, mindfulness and fitness). Please feel free to give me useful advises!

I came to this Idea when I was living in a flat in a big city without possibilities to grow my own food without artificial light etc.. There I´ve already done a lot of things wrong with a system I dont want do mention
