Hey all, my name is Vince I am just starting my AP system mostly from repurposed goods.
I have about a 10-12 gallon tank with what started as 12 Goldfish is now down to 7.
When I first started I did not have my pumps or any water testing kits. I just went out and randomly brought home goldfish since I got a recycled "tank" for free.
Well up here in Lake Tahoe Basin we get very little light under the pine tree canopy. And it stays pretty cold out side year round with unpredictable weather. So I have an Indoor garden. I use a system known as widowfarm, which ours is recycled hanging plastic bottles, with the drip from the fish tank.
