So I had posted a little while ago about having problems with my nitrates and algae. I was going to add muriatic acid (hydrochloric acid) to my system but decided to wait it out. My pH is now at 6.8 holding steady for a few days now. Also I purchased more fish and added them to the system. Since then my nitrates have been at 40ppm and growth has improved drastically. Looks great. Neat little greenhouse you got there. Good pH reading if it holds steady there. Are you adding any calcium or potassium to your system? |
