Post subject:  Hello from Virginia

Hello to all, I am 21 years old and stumbled across Aquaponics just a few short months ago while searching for a way grow vegetables in my subdivision without putting a huge traditional garden in my back yard.

Being a gardener and a fishing enthusiast I knew I had to try my hand at this amazing concept.

After months of research and careful planning I have come up with a AP system that I will be constructing out of two IBC's for the fish tanks and handmade heavy duty grow beds lined with pond liner, all which will be housed in my greenhouse that is in the construction stage now.

Being that this is my first system I just wanted to introduce myself and get into the community here seeing how I will more than likely run into some questions and problems and will need some assistance from some more experienced AP connoisseurs.

PS. Iv'e been on other forums before but if someone could give me the easiest way to post some pictures I can post picture of my "in the making" greenhouse.

Thanks,

Ohhh...white picket fences.

Make sure you make your system pruddy.

Welcome to the madness.

+1

You have just given me a better build idea for my greenhouse using the cattle panels. Great idea!

Please post more pics frequently.

Nice work KB, you're well on the way there. Sometimes I wished I had waited a bit before starting my thread!

Hey kbiller, I know at 21 years old you probably have a very full, fun social life, but what about me? I'm trying to live out my greenhouse fantasies vicariously through you... :-)
Any new photos mate?
