Hi, I joined the forum a year or 2 ago, but have made no progress since then. I'm desperate for a bit of help now tho, I'm trying to find some of the systems I was looking at when I joined, have finally worked out one of them was ice man's parents system, but there's another that I just cannot find and was hoping someone here might know. I think there might have been video of it, someone had built a really big fish tank, and was lining it with pond liner, and I believe the same person had dug sump tanks, may have had a problem with flooding at some point? If anyone can identify a system from those brief memories, yay! And please help me find either the thread or the video it was from, because I'm driving myself crazy trying to find it!

Any memory of what the tank was made of that the liner was going into or the climate it was in? Might help if you describe what you're thinking of doing as well.

Cheers

I wish I could remember more! Off the top of my head I think it was a warmer climate. I'm pretty sure he had buried sump tanks, and this fish tank was not buried, but it was pretty large. It was a rectangle, and possibly involved the use of a particular type of plumbing fitting that you could just push through. I know that is terribly vague! I've put up a system thread in the system board, but we're in basic planning stages at the moment, waiting for some money to arrive. Hoping to find some program I can use to draw my design on my pad today. Basically we're going to have a 2m x 1m x 1m ft, buried in the ground, and then 7m worth of space to use for grow beds. Today I plan to look up about nft and strawberries. !

:laughing3: You haven't narrowed it down that much :support:

Mind you it is not mine because I've never posted a video.

I found it! DecalsbyJT his greenhouse system. Apparently he just put so much detail and pictures in, my brain just turned it into a video! There go 2 wasted days searching youtube :( now going to spend a few hours re-reading the entire thread. :)
