Hello, all! I am so new that I don't even have an aquaponic system yet. I am just beginning to design an indoor system, intending it to be attractive enough to be the "centerpiece" of my living room (eventually). I'm working on it with my son, who lives nearby and is also looking into starting an indoor aquaponic system.
My goal, generally, is to improve the sustainability of urban or suburban apartment dwelling. In the long run, I hope to try different designs and strategies and make the best of the plans available to anyone who would like to replicate it.
I have only had a little time to look around at this forum, but I can see there is a wealth of experience here. I am looking forward to all this learning!

Thank you! Great to know there are other buckeyes around! Cincinnati here... very southwest corner of the state. I can get to either Indiana or Kentucky in less than 15 minutes from my place.
Whenever I get some time, I will begin looking around the site for small indoor systems. I want a little 10 gallon tabletop one just for fun, and hopefully a 75 gallon tank beautiful system right in my living room, where normal people would put an entertainment center. This would be more my style of entertainment!
I hope to devote more time to researching and planning next weekend.
