Post subject:  I knew it was time to introduce myself when...

This morning my wife peeked her head into the shower and said "Did you forget about me? Is Aquaponics taking my place?". I do have the "fever". I will admit I have been up late reading a lot in the last couple of months(mostly here), but I didn't think it had gotten to the point of spousal neglect. I just want to say thanks to all of you who contribute. You have all been a huge inspiration to me. I feel like I already know several of you, especially after reading Ryans thread and a couple on solids removal
Anyway, I just got 2 330g IBCs and will start on a simple 1 IBC F&D system this weekend to get the ball rolling. I'm planning on expanding to a CHIFT PIST as soon as I can source a decent sized round FT. I'm sure I will have some questions when I get to the expansion, but I think I'm in the right spot. Thanks in advance.

Hey, welcome moonunit.
I think my wife feels the same way at times.
Looking forward to seeing your system. Be sure to start a member's system thread and show us some photos mate.

Hi moonunit :wave1:

Yes always a good idea to remember the missus occasionally

Perhaps you could build her her own AP system with flowers and stuff growing out of it :funny1:

Or just grow pretty food. There are some good looking chards, kale, and even peppers can be grown to look good.

She'll be thrilled with squash blossoms and 'mater blooms i'm sure.

That's a nice looking indoor system Jake.

I've already got several questions. I guess it would be better to just start a member's system thread to do that?

hey moonunit,
some people start a system thread straight away. Some just lurk or ask questions in the relevant discussion section and then start a system thread when they are ready to build. You've got your IBC's, so I reckon it's time to start your thread so we can all share in your adventure. And pics mate, we love pics.
Cheers.
