Hello everyone I'm Rachel from south east Queensland in Australia. I'm doing an engineering thesis on Aquaponics and would love to hear from everyone about their experiences, what's worked, what hasn't worked, interesting ideas etc. I plan to make my own little system to get some data, but if I can't get it going in time it would be great if someone was willing to collect some data from their own system for me! It wouldn't be much work, just some info about the system, surrounding conditions, water conditions and just monitoring growth rates of plants and fish over a period of time. Let me know if you're interested! And please just tell me about what you have going, everything helps! |

Hi Rachel. Welcome to the forum. Have a look through the members system part of the forum. Most systems in there have gone through ups and downs, and usually says what they've done to fix it, what's worked, and what hasn't. I've detailed the majority of what I've seen in my thread, the good, the bad, the stupid mistakes I've made. A good chunk of the others will be the same. |
