Hey everyone just thought id introduce myself
My names Matthew I'm 31 years old and I'm from Melbourne I've never really been into gardening before, I've always been too busy... Working full-time and studying Conservation and land management part time at the same time But about 8 months ago I did an injury and haven't been doing much work ever since. Well this left me with a fair bit of spare time and an unbelievable amount of bordom. So I decided to give Gardening a go. I stated by growing some zucchini, tomatoes, beans, peas and strawberries Not only have I found it quite therapeutic but it is also saving us a little bit of money on veg. So as a person who is into sustainability and environment I thaught aquaponics seems like a string to add to the bow. As a side note Im also considering breeding rabbits for food and the manure they will provide for my garden. I am going to start out with an IBC system i allready have a half IBC that was left over from my uncles AP system and I am looking to purchase another one as i dont want to cut down the tank i will start with the one grow bed and use a full IBC for fish tank. The fish Tank will be stored under my carport where it will be in the shade most of the day. and my grow bed will be in full sun I plan to make a little greenhouse on top of the grow bed as well as to extend the growing season of some of our favourites a bit
Anyway I am a noob at this so bear with me and ill try the search function before asking to many stupid questions
Cheers Matt

I have seen some on seen some for 45 bucks on Gumtree and they have been used for Aqueous Latex Compound which the seller says is safe to use for aquaponics I'm going to do some more research before purchase though.
