Thanks Charlie - if only we could keep the yabbies alive we'd be thrilled! Fish are growing well and the veggies are coming along in leaps and bounds - in fact I'm looking at the spinach and thinking that's dinner tonight Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

looks good, where did you get the GB and FT? your yabbie pond looks way to open, maybe they are getting sunstroke but seriously, I think they would prefer more shelter, maybe some shade and lots more hidey-holes. they like dark and murky. |

Hi slow boat - we got the gear from woodvale fish and lily - Calinda was very helpful. In regards to the yabbies, I've got a max/min thermometer in at the moment and don't think the heat is the culprit - we're back to the PH theory but my calcium additions don't seem to be helping. I take your point about shelter, we've got a largeish shade cloth floating in there (we call it the yabbie apartment and quite a few off cuts of retic pipe. Think maybe we'll eat all the grown ups and just let the babies grow up (we've got at least three batches of babies) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Thanks skeggley - we're pretty happy with it - we get lots of salad greens every night and we've had no problems with the fish - looking forward to our first fish harvests over summer. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
