Hello everyone!

I just put together my first system after weeks of reading about aquaponics and figured I should register.

I live up in Saskatchewan Canada, our growing region is 1B so we do not have much of an outdoor window to grow much and last year was a big let down. It started well and everything was happy, then over a month of rain rotted the roots of my vining veggies then we had a month of blistering drought that caused everything else to bolt and seed early. As we are now into the frigid 6 months of winter my wife and I decided to give indoor growing a try. (it was -47c with the windchill today...)

I have a small indoor system set up:

- 85L Tote with 20Gal of water holding 6 comet goldfish
- 85L Long and shallow tote with 50L clay pebbles
- Flood & Drain setup that cycles the water every 10min
- 400W metal halide high bay construction lamp

Average indoor stats are 35% humidity and 20c unlit/22c with light on ~15hrs/day.

Hoping to grow:
- Red cherry tomatos (Tiny Tims)
- Yellow bell tomatos
- Wintercress lettuce
- Strawberries
