A place to discuss aquaponics

I've been reading and learning about Aquaponics for about 6 months now. I am very interested in getting a system going but that will have to wait. We're moving to Arizona late next summer and I'll just have to start there. In the meantime, I figure this would be a good place to gather even more information.

Arizona is going to have far more accommodating growing conditions. I would suggest sketching out what your first system will look like. Having a plan will help you so much when you actually start building, and in my opinion, you learn so much more when you think it all out. (however I have definitely learned a lot from trial and error- ie yesterday I had a pipe fall loose and ended up with 20 gallons on my dining room floor and almost burnt out my pump
