I think tclynx had some kind of a duckponics working. I was thinking about it as well but the chickens have priority atm.
I have already some nice container sitting here which would be nice as a duck pond (in my opinion, I never had ducks before... or chicken... or Barramundi
) and basically an unlimited access to ibcs for a carton of beer but I am not sure whether I want them (they come from a car repair shop and look pretty dirty, have to find out about the stuff which was in them).

I am getting ready to dig a nice little liner pool (1,000-2,500gal) for our duckies come spring to finally upgrade from the old kiddie pools, so it's been nice to see similar projects. The biggest priority for a successful duckponics system seems to be having 
In addition to an ample in-ground bog filter with vigorous duck-resistant plants, I'll be lining raised barrel-beds along the fenceline of the duck yard. Pulling off an AP setup for a flock of 30 is going to be no small undertaking, but should be lots of fun! :-)
