Hey all my name is Tui

i have just put together a flood and drain system using a 1000 ltr IBC fish tank, 2 half Blue Barrel grow beds with expanded clay as my grow media, a sump tank under the grow beds with a submersible pump at 12,500 litres/hour flow rate. Im thinking the pump is a bit of overkill, they were going cheap so i got one.

I want to grow Watercress, what ya reckon about the pump to big?

Hey Hineira.. That pump is VERY big... Better to have a smaller more reliable one, than a large cheapy that could go bang on you.. I reckon you want a pump about 1/10th the size.. :lol:
