Hi, I'm new to AP. Just getting started really. I was wondering if anyone lives around the OKC area, or even in Oklahoma. If possible, I'd like to contact you and possibly view your set up. It would be nice to gain experience from others before I set this up incorrectly. Thanks. Jimmy |

Welcome - All I can say is do your homework, research and research some more, but sooner or later you just have to jump in  I was hesitant when I started, messed up a lot - but learned and it filled in a lot of gaps from research and forums.Best of luck and remember, best part of a home grown system is no-one has to know about any screw ups

Jimmy, I'm from Coalgate and also a newcomer to AP... I'm just getting started, but am not jumping in both feet yet, just throwing together some things I already have and see if I can get it to work growing some vegetables. In this poor soil I have on a hillside where the topsoil washed away 100's if not 1000's of years ago, it is next to impossible. You can see what I have going so far by looking in the "members systems" portion of the forum....Welcome and good luck to all, if I can help with my limited knowledge and experience, I will be glad to,,,,Just visit my thread and ask away.... Glad to see there are some more Okies here....I probably need more help than most. |
