HI! I found this site accidentally, and I'm thrilled. I am also in the Albuquerque area. I am just learning about aquaponics. I initially planned on hydroponics, but this sounds even better. Hey Tina! Welcome to BYAP. I am also a newbie in Albuquerque, i just set up a 150 gal system. I dont have fish but i am currently establishing the benificial bacteria in the filter with ammonia cycling. In the next week or so i will be acclimating fish. I would like to be apart of a local group, but i have not found one yet. If you find one could you let me know? Otherwise lets keep in touch and we could help group some of the other locals together. Also i might have some supplies that could help you get started (pvc fittings and stuff).
