Hi Everyone,

Just thought I would introduce myself; Ive been thingking about growing my own vegies for a long time now but thought it would be too much hard work with all the digging and watering etc... then I stumbled on a link to a web site with information about aquaponics. I quickly found the BYAP website and forum. To my surprise the BYAP shop is about 20 inutes away from where I live! The staff down there are just fantastic, so luky to live so close.

I like to think of Aquaponics as gardening for the 22d century! so much potential for people to be self sustainable for the future.

Anyway as is the custom I will be posting some pics of the system I am building, I a new to most aspects so I am sure I will be calling upon the comunity for advice.

Thanks Rupert, I see aquaponicist is the correct term then :-)

The term 'aquapon' can be a little disturbing to some lol ... but yea, stick with aquaponicist and you cant go wrong.
