I've only recently developed an interest in aquaponics with a view to supplementing my veggie garden.
At the moment, I'm devouring all the information I can and looking for suitable tanks and planters.

There's lots of commercial aquaculture in the area, my home town is the base for the support industry so no shortage of fish food!

I'd love to hear from any other Tasmanians doing aquaponics..

Hi Geoff... :wave1:

There have been a few members from tassie, Tony had a great system down there, but not sure where his old system thread is now, might take a bit of searching.

I found Tony's thread and had a good read. Amazing system and then to take it all apart!
I don't have the budget to be doing anything on that scale, more than likely IBC and blue drum based as I can get those fairly cheaply.
At least fish selection is easy, it's either trout or trout.

Lots more reading and viewing of videos still to go
