We're just getting started on this but are very excited. We just got our tank and grow bed set up yesterday and keep going out just to look at it run.

We're waiting for our local feed store's fish days and then we're planning on stocking with catfish because they do well in our climate and we shouldn't need to do anything extraordinary to get them through winter. In the meantime, we're hoping to set up the rest of the tanks and install some lighting.

We're hoping to throw in a couple a gold fish tomorrow.

Thanks! We're really excited. My husband can't wait for fish. We don't eat much of it because it is so expensive, but he misses it.

Omaha? Seriously? You're only about an hour north of us! My daughter goes to the children's hospital up there and that is my biannual trip to the Asian Market to stock up on tea.

LOL I love the fact that you go to the asian market for your tea! Yeah I am pretty new to AP as well but we seem to have a lot in common. We are planning on Home schooling, it seems as if you do sentsy too? My wife sells 31 and is a stay at home mama. We only have 2 so you got me there. It is awesome that there are more Nebraskan's on here.

On the topic of AP where are you getting your catfish from?? you said a hardware store will sell them?

Cool! I don't do scentsy, but after my son died, we raised money to build a children's home in his memory and a facebook friend of mine donated her profits. I do handmade jewelry, but I tell you, money must not be that much of a motivator for me. Since we finished raising the money and it now just sits in an account, I am not nearly so motivated! It's kind of funny because that's where I got the money for my ducklings.

Do you have Orscheln's up there? Our local one has fish days at the end of April. I haven't talked to them yet, but I don't think the minimum order is too outrageous. I hope not, or I'm going to have fun trying to find someone to sell me a handful of fish! Or I'll have to somehow convert all our friends so we can put in an order together!

Do you have a system up and running and producing yet, or still in the planning stages? We just threw some gold fish in ours last night and I'm pleased to report that all ten survived the night!
